Our most luxurious room option, most of our Premier Rooms come with a four poster bed as well as a spacious refitted bathroom that accommodates both bath and a separate shower. These bedrooms will normally offer extras such as comfortable seating area, a 32 inch digital flat screen television, hair dryer as well as a hospitality tray.
Our Superior Rooms are more spacious and tastefully refurbished, they offer luxurious beds, a 26 inch digital flat screen television. The spacious bathrooms have been refitted with shower over bath. These rooms also come with the facilities to make yourself a hot drink.
Our Standard Rooms are charming and have everything you would expect. The rooms have digital televisions, tea and coffee making facilities as well as an en-suite bathroom.

Well it is 3 weeks since we came back from the Strathmore, that was our second holiday there, we took a friend with us, and first impressions from outside, did raise an eyebrow, but once inside, my friend soon realised I was right, and that the warm friendly staff really helped us to have wonderful holiday. Nothing was too much trouble, complaints, only 2 were dealt with immediately, food fab, entertainment good also, would go there again. And trips out were very good.

My husband and I went here w/c February 4th for 5 nights on a Shearings coach break. The hotel was quite "tired" in its decoration but even so it was clean and warm and very well run. It would have been nice to have a modern TV with Free view. The food was 100% perfect with amazing choice every day-I could have chosen all of offer of all the courses it was so varied! The dining room is very nice with good furnishings and the waiting staff superb. The reception staff were OK but not too knowledgeable about bus time tables etc. I guess English was not the first language for some of them. Many great bus routes are available from Lancaster (a bus outside the door goes every 15 minutes to their which is a few miles away); we can especially recommend the bus route to Kirkby Lonsdale which is about an hour through wonderful scenery, but I cannot guarantee the snow capped mountains in the sunshine, like we saw. It would have been good to have bus time tables on display in the lobby; great to have a bus stop outside the hotel door. Wi-Fi would have been much appreciated or even a public computer to use. The setting is lovely overlooking Morecambe Bay. We recommend a walk along the stone jetty to take sunset photos; we froze in the bitter wind but it was well worth it. The evening entertainment was very good; just nice, casual middle of the road stuff with good music. The 4 drink tokens were great; such an amazing selection. Overall the hotel is very well run and credit is due to the manager and all the staff team :) Here's to the next coach tour with Shearings!

Had a great holiday, lovely hotel, food, entertainment. The hotel was warm, the waiter Leon was great, enjoyed the trips. The only down side for us living so far away it took 12 hrs to get there by coach . A big thank you to Debbie our coach driver that took us on the trips. Thank you Shearings great value for the money.

My friend and I have just returned from a wonderful holiday at the Strathmore Hotel. Room EXCELLENT, Food EXCELLENT, entertainment EXCELLENT. Coach Driver Debbie was also excellent together with our waiter Leon C. Even my fellow travellers were excellent, a really nice crowd. I could not have asked for more. If my next Shearings holiday matches this one I will be delighted but I think it would take some beating as for me this holiday was perfect. A big thank you to Shearings & Strathmore.

Just to say a big thanks to all the staff for a great stay (4 nights) food was great, waiter Macieq was fantastic, Debbie from Shearings was great all week, the only criticism I have is the room we was in 301 was freezing, when we got in the heating was not on we reported it to the reception. Heating comes on at 6pm to 11pm ish they did switch it on early for us. Decor slightly dated could do with decorating small damp marks on walls, many thanks again.

Just returned from a long weekend at the Strathmore. 3rd visit to this hotel and never had any problems. My only niggle this time is room we were allocated (116) was small and claustrophobic (even though it was cold-but sunny outside)-compared to previous stays there. It hasn't put me off this hotel and will go again but if given this room again would ask if we could move as I found it very hard to sleep even with window open. Staff and food were excellent as always. Recommended to my aunty.

Went to the Strathmore at Morecambe on an all inclusive 5 day holiday with Shearings, having been on quite a few of these holidays. This was excellent value for money and very enjoyable. The hotel is a very friendly, comfortable place, well situated on the front. The staff were all very good, the food was excellent, well presented and served hot. Alan the coach driver was very helpful and Leon the waiter was very good. Our room was very clean with a modern bathroom. Well done staff!

We have just spent the most wonderful holiday in Morecombe, I felt I had to thank you so much for making our holiday so special. We spent the week with lovely people and Debbie our Shearings driver was one of the best drivers we have been with so far.(Thank you Debbie). We have been on many holidays with Shearings but we feel that this has been by far the best. The food in the Hotel was 1st class compliments to the kitchen staff as they work so hard, I feel that they do get rather over looked.

We had a 4 night stay at this hotel and I must say it was the best holiday that we have had, all the staff did whatever they were asked .We could not have had any better if we had paid for 5 STAR, I would like to give a very big thank you to our waiter Macieq. We would all like to say a big thank you to all the staff and entertainers for our weekend break the Strathmore. They were all very pleasant and went out of their way to help, especially Macieq our waiter. Even the weather was good, chilly but sunny. Finally a big thank you to Debbie the receptionist who took the trouble to parcel and return my phone charger. We have all ready booked another holiday with shearing’s for April.
