At the Derwentwater Hotel you’ll find a traditional 3* hotel experience, with luxurious en suite rooms offering magnificent views. You’ll find intimate, warm décor, and a full range of in-room facilities.

At the Derwentwater Hotel we take exceptional pride in the standard of our cuisine. In Deer’s Leap, you’ll find one of the finest restaurants in Keswick. A superb choice of modern and traditional food is served by impeccably trained staff. Dinner is a three-course menu, changed daily, followed by coffee. Breakfast includes a full range of continental and traditional cooked options.

If it’s exercise you’re after, you’ll find Oxley’s, our partner health spa, is ideal. Just a five minute drive from the hotel. Keep fit in the gym, or unwind with one of twelve indulgent treatments. Children under 16 are not permitted to use Oxley’s Health Spa. Back at the hotel, enjoy a relaxing drink in our spacious bar and conservatory.

Easter Break

Just returned from Easter break at Derewentwater, had a lovely time, food and service really good, rooms clean and tidy, had a problem with TV but was sorted straight away, if you want peace and quiet this is the place to stay

Get way From It All Break

Our first stay at the Derwentwater had a lovely time and felt that we got value for money, the staff were very friendly and polite, and the hotel was clean and set in lovely surroundings. Would certainly visit again.

Birthday Treat

Second visit this year and will visit again next year great for a weekend break. Very relaxing great for recharging batteries. Great food great staff.
