The Charlecote Pheasant Hotel has a total of 70 bedrooms, including a combination of newly refurbished modern Barford Bedrooms, as well as traditional characteristic Farmhouse Superior rooms. The Charlecote's bedrooms are furnished in a warm style and offer a comfortable and well-equipped retreat at the end of the day. All rooms have the standard of facilities expected such as en suite bathrooms, TV, hair dryer and hospitality tray, with further refreshments available throughout the day or night from room service.
Often our most luxurious room option. Most premier rooms have four-poster beds and spacious en suite bathrooms that have been beautifully re-fitted to accommodate both bath and shower options. These large rooms will normally offer a comfortable seating area, 32 inch flat screen digital television, hairdryer and the facilities to make a hot beverage.
Our Superior rooms typically have luxurious beds, 26 inch flat screen digital television, and a spacious en-suite bathroom with shower over bath. These Superior rooms also have the facilities to make a hot beverage.
Our Standard Rooms are charming and have everything you would expect from a modern hotel - private facilities, a TV and everything you need to make yourself a hot beverage.

Good hotel, good food and comfortable rooms BUT lounge area much too small for the number of people, especially in the evenings. Also rooms in annex which is not good when it rains and you want the main hotel. Good value for the money.

This is by far the best sheerings hotel we have stayed in. The standard room was clean, spacious, & well appointed. The staff could not have been more helpful & pleasant. The food was of a good standard & the whole dining experience was very relaxed. None of the rush rush rush of some Shearings hotels. Come on Llandudno & Rothsay buck up your ideas. There are no prizes for serving the largest number of guests in the shortest possible time. Thanks again Charlecote.

We have just spent a week at this wonderfully comfortable hotel with our sister and brother-in-law, and thoroughly enjoyed our stay. Our rooms were very comfortable and nothing was too much trouble for the staff, who were all excellent at their job, in particular, Dan our waiter and Angelina, restaurant manager (thanks to you both). The hotel was in a very good location for exploring, with a bus service right outside. It is definitely a place to visit and we would certainly recommend it. Thanks XXX

This is the second time my wife and I have stayed here and we will be back. Ideally situated for the Cotswolds and better still a bus stop outside the hotel. The staff are second to none attentive and professional at all times and they know what they are doing (trained). Food was nice with variety and room spacious overall a good experience and have no hesitation in recommending this hotel a definite jewel in the crown.

Can’t thank the wonderful staff enough, for their kindness. My husband was taken ill. And they were so good. From the brilliant reception staff, to the cleaning staff. I have to make this comment as myself and my partner thoroughly enjoyed a self drive 4 night stay at the Charlecote Pheasant Hotel. The rooms and hotel facilities were great not to mention the excellent meals. The staff were first class at all times with a smile and made everyone feel looked after. The hotel is ideally placed for trips out with a bus service almost at the door. Recommend a visit.

This is, in our opinion the best shearing hotel we have stayed in. we have stayed in Coast and Country Hotels before, as well as their bay selection. Our room was in the farmhouse block we did upgrade. That said, the food was to a very high standard the dining room was modern clean but in a traditional coach house theme, the staff were so polite and nothing too much for them. This with the lovely setting of the area has made this holiday one of our best we will be returning here.

Stayed here week 7 - 13 Nov, fantastic location, good staff and a terrific room. On the 13 Nov I moved on to Stow on the Wold for a reunion at a so called 5 Star + Spa. Not a patch on the pheasant, and certainly not a 5 star experience. Thank you all the staff at the pheasant you are a credit and your hard work and friendly demeanour is a refreshing experience. We will be back you can bet on it.

We have just come back from a weekend at the Charlecote Pheasant Hotel, The rooms were very clean and comfortable, the food good and plenty of it! The staff pleasant and helpful. All in all a good place to visit - could have done with a few more days to explore the area.

This is the best Shearings hotel we have visited. You certainly don't need to waste money upgrading your room. Ours was a standard room in the annexe and our bedroom overlooked the tennis courts at the back of the hotel. We never saw anyone playing a game so it was very quiet although we wouldn't have been bothered if there had been. The room was very modern with a good selection of teas /coffees and biscuits. The staff were excellent, a good choice of menu and the location is wonderful.
