Worth A Visit

My wife and I stayed on a four night break (self drive) at this hotel and really enjoyed it. We have in the past had a one very bad stay at another hotel but also had a few good experiences with Shearings and this hotel will be visited again and again. The food was value for money with every request met and that went for everything else also. Being a disabled person (walking mobility) my requests never fell on deaf ears. Thanks to ALL THE STAFF and we will see you again.

Good Honest Value

A super 5 day self drive break booked via Shearings Coast and Country hotels. I had a lovely, comfortable spacious single room with a sea view. Fourth floor room with a large bathroom with shower. The food was excellent with a good choice of meals and a free bar and free morning paper. The staff were polite and the service was very good. Considering the price of this 5 day four night holiday I find it hard to beat for value. Handy for Bath, Wells etc. I will definitely use this hotel again.

Lovely hotel

We had a pleasant stay at this hotel. The standard twin room was above what we expected. lovely see view. Only a couple of things that could do with being looked at are possibly a fan in the rooms as standard as it was so hot in our room had a job to sleep a couple of nights. The service at dinner, the wait between courses took a little longer than we would have liked, some of the staff couldn’t speak English very well which made it difficult. Apart from that lovely stay will come again

Location, Location, Location.

A very warm welcome, friendly and helpful staff that are willing to go the extra mile, excellent food, a lovely room(superior grade) with incomparable panoramic views and a generous helping of good old fashioned service delivered with a smile and a genuine willingness to help. My wife and I stayed here for a four-night midweek break and thoroughly enjoyed every minute. We have stayed at other Shearings hotels and all have lived up to expectations and are tremendous value for money. THANK YOU.
