Holiday Details

Day 1: UK to Calgary
Fly direct from your chosen airport to Calgary. On arrival you will be met by our representative and transferred to your hotel. The rest of the day is at leisure to explore.

Day 2: Calgary to Banff
We drive through the ranching country west of Calgary, where you will see such famous landmarks as Tunnel Mountain Drive, Stoney Nakada Resort, Bow Falls and the Hoodoos. There will be free time at Sulphur Mountain before continuing to Banff.

Day 3: Columbia Icefields
We make our way to the Columbia Icefields, traversing one of the most dramatic and spectacular landscapes in the world for an exhilarating ride on the Ice Explorer train, taking you up to the awe-inspiring ancient Athabasca Glacier. We make a stop at picturesque Peyto & Bow Lake before heading to the Crowfoot Glacier.

Day 4: Rocky Mountaineer Banff to Kamloops
Onboard the Rocky Mountaineer train, you will experience a spectacular rail ride to Kamloops, seeing a myriad of changing landscapes, as we make our way through the famous Kicking Horse Pass, before arriving in the arid ranch territory of British Columbia. (B,L)

Day 5: Kamloops to Vancouver
Join us on another spectacular rail experience today, as The Rocky Mountaineer takes you through the ranchlands of ‘Cowboy Country’. Listen to the history and legends of the West’s pioneer country from the complimentary commentary, as we journey alongside the rushing torrents of the Fraser & Thompson rivers. (B,L)

Day 6: Vancouver
Discover the sights of Vancouver with your included free pass for the hop on/off trolley tour, soaking up the sights in this nostalgic city.

Day 7: Victoria Excursion
Today’s full day excursion begins with a cruise through the scenic Gulf Islands to discover the beautiful, acclaimed Butchart Gardens. Afterwards, we continue to Victoria for a sightseeing tour that encompasses Victoria’s stately homes and gardens as well as historic landmarks.

Day 8: Vancouver to UK
Free time before your transfer to the airport for your return flight.

Day 9: Arrive UK
Arrive back to the UK.
