Shearings Holidays Set To Launch Its Biggest Ever Advertising Campaign

Shearings Holidays, the award-winning tour operator, is set to launch its biggest ever advertising campaign, as part of a huge marketing push to boost bookings in January and February.

The advertising campaign, entitled ‘It’s Time to... Enjoy’, will air for the first time on Monday 28th December across a variety of channels including ITV1, ITV Digital, Sky Media and Channel 4 Digital.

The 30-second and 10-second adverts incorporate the fact the company is more than just a UK coach operator, highlighting the breadth of holiday options that are available to enjoy with Shearings. The campaign shows the benefits of booking a Shearings holiday and urges customers to book early to take advantage of up to £100 per couple discounts.

The ‘It’s Time To... Enjoy’ ads, will also for the first time appear during prime-time TV slots in ITV soaps, Emmerdale on Monday 28th December at 7.15pm and Coronation Street on Wednesday 30th December at 7.45pm. They’ll air on ITV in the Granada, Yorkshire and Meridian regions.

Caroline Brown, commercial director for Shearings, said: “This campaign represents our biggest ever investment in TV, following a successful year of sales and improved overall profit margins. We hope this advertising campaign will further strengthen our position in a crucial trading period.

“Although we’re best known for coach holidays, we also offer a superb selection of holidays to our own exclusive UK hotels and breaks to Europe by air and rail. The programme includes a fantastic range of river cruises as well, to suit all tastes and budgets. We wanted the adverts to showcase the abundance of itineraries that are available for customers to enjoy with Shearings and stress the fact that we are more than just a UK coach operator.”

The campaign coincides with the launch of Shearings’ fully-responsive website ( The new website was designed with enhanced navigation, making it easier for customers to search for holidays on all devices including tablets and smart phones.

The award-winning tour operator will also be launching its updated 2016 brochures for UK & Ireland, Europe and River Cruise.
